We have also decided to let YOU chose which ones. Technically, it amounts to the same work for our level builders as doing a new one from scratch.īut since we are now committed to making new ones, we have decided that the opportunity to bring those classic maps to Red Dragon was too good to be missed. Due to major changes in the map making process between the various Wargame installments, porting EE or ALB’s maps to RD isn’t an easy trick. Over time, many people have been requesting that we port their favorite maps from Escalation or AirLand to Red Dragon, and today we have decided to oblige them. It is the latter ones which are of interest here, proposals for the former ones will be discussed later.
In this way Eugen can expect tons of cash without additional work in map development and players will receives lots of new maps, all built by players.

The series quickly became a new reference among the strategy games genre, first with European Escalation, and then with its direct sequel, AirLand Battle. Eugen could release an map editor for Red Dragon for free but player need to buy a single DLC to access any user generated map. They will come in two kinds: alternate versions of existing maps, with a different level design (orientation, zones, …) and brand new ones. Wargame: Red Dragon is the third title of the spectacular series of real-time strategy games Wargame, created by Eugen Systems. With Act of Aggression on its final run, we have decided to bring some of our people back on Red Dragon to accede to one of the community’s main request: NEW MAPS
